Stuck in I-485 name check

My case for I-485 was filed in Dec. 2003 with VSC and finger print was taken in Nov. 2004.

My PD is current but VSC shows my case is pending name check. Senator's office says ther's nothing they can do at this stage. It's very frustrating just to wait. Other people inm the same boat here?
