Actully when I was told that my I485 is pending on FBI name check on 05/2004,
I did send email/letter/FAX to FBI, but so far no response.

So I have to wait, wait for Name Check being cleared,
wait for PD become current again.
(When I submited I485 on 08/2004, visa number is available)
