Question about H1 transfer to H4?

My wife holds an H1 and my son got an H4 from her. My wife will lose her H1 at the end of next month. I need to transfer my wife's H1 to H4 by my H1 and my son's H4 to my H1. What should I do and how do I do it? What documents would I need? My I140 is pending, my wife has an EAD card as a dependent. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
