If you get REF for 140 or 485 regarding your current job, as long as you can provide an employment letter from your current employer that you are working in the field similiar to the one when you filed NIW, you are all set. Dont worry too much about changing jobs. Many people don't know about the tricks in immigration, even most lawyers.
