I had similar situation

I got one e-mail notice regarding RFE for my hubby's I-485. Later my lawyer told me it is about his legal status. Therefore I have to submit the copy of his I-20 (even tran) in response to RFE. I was told that it is not a big deal and I have 3 months to reply that.
Now what you can do is to contact your lawyer. The letter was sent to the lawyer and I am still waiting for him to give me the copy. So in your case, please try every mean of getting your lawyer. But don't panic. You have enough time for that.
