Post-doc in US university

35 publications in English (7 of them are first author)；

500+citations mainly from second or third author's papers

9 reference letters (4 from universities; 3 from government and national labs; two from Industries)

6 of 9 recommendation letters are from independent including all government letters and industry letters).



I think independent letters are important.
