questions on EAD and 485

I'm J-2 and now 485 pending since September. So I have two EAD cards in my hands, one based on J-2 (C-5) and the other based on 485 (C-9). I'm working for company using the J-2 EAD. Is it correct or wrong? If wrong, what negative consequence will be?
