Canadian Immigration Interview: should go to Buffalo with my spo

I was required to have an interview at Buffalo next Feb. I am the principle applicant. Do I have to bring my hu*****and with me? BTW, there is no indication i.e. XX before 'Your accompanying dependant(s) must attend the interview with you'.

Did anyone take an interview due to background check? What kinds of questions would be asked?
