The I-94 you got from the H1 transfer approval notice should have an even later expiration date (than the old H1 I-94 issued for previous employer), such as three years from the H1 transfer starting date. So I don't quite understand how your NEW H1 I-94 can be expired? Do you not have a NEW I-94 in the same paper of H1 transfer I-797 approval? Or your H1 transfer is still pending?
