How CIS know any job changes

I am (Canadian citizen) using TN, how would USCIS know if I change to another job? I just get a new I-94 card issued at US Port of Entry, no other filing.

Also, do GC applicants (EB1 or EB2-NIW) need to report if they change jobs?
