Take I765, follow the

instructions. I think it mentions two pictures in the requirement list. But they will take a picture on the spot for the interim EAD. Your real EAD card will be mailed to you, starting date will be from the expiration date on your interim one. But I think you still need to bring the pictures with you. Read the instruction of I765, you will need that form anyway.
