why so my updates for EAD?

Hi, buddies,

My I485 has been pending since Aug. 2004 at NSC (I-140 NIW was approved before this). I submitted I765 (EAD) application on Aug. 31, and got it approved on Oct.5. But, on USCIS web the information has been updated at least several times: 10/5, 10/6, 10/7, and 10/11. I am not sure what that means. Could anyone with same experience tell me any clue? Thanks.
