Regarding EAD, I already have an EAD which is based on J-2. I also filed i-485 and 485 based EAD. So probably I will have to use AP at cost of losing J2. And then to use 485 based EAD later because the current J-2 based EAD would expire if I lose the j2.

Is that correct? So complex...
