According to the new Yate memo, you need wait only 180 days after 485 filling to change a similar job. After that point,140 is portable. 140 approval is not necessary but 140 needs to be approvable at the filing time. In addition, 140 processing will be be affected by the cut-off date retrogression. Recently, 140 is approved very quick.
