Canadian PR needs valid

American visas to reenter the States. So he will be treated as other Chinese without U.S. green cards.

In another word, if he goes back to China, he needs a new visa to come back to the U.S. But he won't need any visa to enter Canada. But again from Canada to U.S., he needs a valid visa.
