My 140 was approved this May, but my 485 is still pending. I want to apply doe the advanced parole. should I apply it before Oct.1th or this policy change didn't effect my AP application?

If I use the AP, my current visa is H-1, after coming back from China, what is my visa status? Can I still keep my H-1b?
