If USCIS receive your mail on Tu, We, Th, you will get your receipt in 1 week, if they receive your mail on Mo, Fr, it takes 10 days to 2 weeks. If your check is cashed, the receipt numer should already be in the back of your check, which can be obtained from your bank.
