The doctor is lying for money!! There are 4 stages of cancer. If stage 1, your dad is most likely ok, but does not need liver transplant, simly remove part of liver with cancer. If stage 2, in which cancer cells have been found in nearby lymph nodes, then chemotherapy is a must in addition to remove part of liver. If stage 3 or 4, cancer cells have spreaded out and surviving rate is very low. LIver transplant does not cure cancer, period.
