Yes, get waiver and keep you own legal status until your boyfriend becomes citizen. Then you can get GC in several monthes after filing GC application as spouse of US citizen, that will be 2-year conditional GC. If your marriage still existes after 2 years, you can get regular GC. This is the fastest way.
