Yes. I mailed USCIS documents.

I E-filed my I-765 by following USCIS instructions. I was asked to send USCIS the following supporting documents:

1. Online E-file receipt notice;
2. copy of I-485 receipt notice;
3. copy of I-94 (both sides);
4. copy of current EAD (both sieds).

The application fee $175 was paid online with my credit card.

But I was also asked to call USCIS to make an appointment with local ASC (application Support Center) for taking picture and finger prints. I did finger print (code 3) for my I-485 in April, 2005.
