Which is easier to get visa

I'm going back to China,and i'm brining my mum here.

Is it better to say i'm bringing her here, or just let my mum go to interview herself, only mention she's with me if she has too.

I'm just afraid that they are going to ask:"If your daughter is coming back, what's point of your going to the US?"
