I think due to the fact that most sunscreen does not block UVA and most people are not aware of it, sunscreen tends to create a dangerous and false sense of security for people. In this sense, the growing widespread use of sunscreen contributes to the concurrent 2000% rise in melanoma cases since 1930. The original post was about the withholding of certain key information about the potentially dangerous consequences of certain medical dogma. I personally don't believe the missing information is withheld intentionally.
