A dent in the bone

What kind of bone do we have under the eyebrows?  Is that pretty soft bone?  I have a dent in the bone there.

I hit on the furniture when I was very young in China.  I was told that I had 5 or 6 stitches on the skin there.  I can see a scar there, even though most people don't see it. 

Is there any problem with a dent in the bone there?  I guess what I am asking is: is that common when a bone has a dent?
