recommend u to read 'south beach diet' books
there are tons of those books in library.. the first stage is extremely strict.. not only excluding starch foods, the beans are not allowed either, no potatos, no corn; the protein has to be non fat
but they have meal plan for each day during phase 1, phase 2; also they tell u how to make them; the recipes are included as well
in the beginning, i can't do no-carb diet; so it took some time for me to get used to it; i eat a lot of dairy product; now i can do no-carb; also i run 1 mile every day
i'm not losing as fast as 雲燕MM, but so far i lost 3lbs in a month; and i'm happy to have this rate; now i'm moving on to phase 2; no one can stay on no-carb diet for very long; and it's not healthy any way.
