老歐,need your opinion, thanks

The guy convinced me that I should give his wife money, so that she can be quiet, then everybody can be quiet, otherwise no end. He also said she is sick now, no clear mind. If like what he said, how can be sure she can be fine after getting the money although she promised so.
The wife also announced suicide, of course not.
I feel like I got trapped by the two. What do you think?
BTW, we are a young company, everybody works hard to bring things forward. If bad things happen, it will be a disaster. How stupid we are!
