Adding Super Mario for little guy...

Hi,

Can someone please tell me if Super Mario (wii?) can run on Nintendo DS, or in wii sports/wii play?

My son had a DS handheld and wii sports/wii play system. And now he wants to play Super Mario Bros. Not sure if I can just plug it into DS or wii sports that I already have, or I have to buy something new (if yes, what are the things I need to buy)?
