how the street are interprating PPI?

1. whole sale companies's margin were down in April;

2. PPI was down.

3. Here is the street's dot line: the wholesalers absorbed the tariff cost mostly by sacrificying their margin.  that is why the PPI was down. If this is the case, the inflation presure will be somewhat less going forward on the supply side.
