There are 65,206 stocks worldwide; 30,367 in Asia, 17,471 in Europe, 12,131 in North America, 2,406 in Oceania, 1,646 in South America, and 1,125 in Africa. The United States has 50% of the total market capitalization, China has 21%, Japan 7%, and the rest of the world has the remainder.
