I am buying electrical pole saw. Need to trim trees so they

do not grow too tall or too large. 

I am managing a new house and a wild tree grew in 2-3 years and squeezed gutter. $2k for cut down that tree and another $1k to fix gutter. Tenants never reported problem. It could be avoided easily. 

Had a large tree in backyard of a rental. 2-3 large trunck split at the joint. had to cut and removed stump. $5k?
