經驗豐富的地主們,幫忙看看,謝謝了!
這個是PM發過來,以你們的經驗。這個PM說的有理嗎?感覺$4000真的很貴。
Hey Alice, It seems I was mistaken on the refrigerant being refilled. The company I got out there originally seemed to not be as honest, hence the outrageous pricing they gave. Your current unit takes R22 refrigerant which is no longer available. So, they make a substitute, but is typically used for small leaks because of its cost. Your AC is completely empty. So, with that we could actually be looking at around $1500-$2000 just to refill the refrigerant that is going to leak out because of the leak that is occurring. I apologize for the incorrect pricing before, the $800 I had seen in other units being refilled were units that were 10yrs or less older and took the modern refrigerant that can be refilled at a decent price. Your system is 20+ years old. At this point, I have the hard bid for the AC to be replaced at $4000, I truly thing that is the best option for you to go with as you could possibly be spending 50% of replacement cost for a refill that will not be warranty and could leak empty before the end of cooling season for all we know.
