I rented to Indian 3 times.

My apartment is for starters in a semi-Indian community. Those tenants were just came to US. 

Pros: pay timely. not mess up with neightbors. polite to landlords. stay two or three years, not picky for apartment conditions. 

Cons: Kitchen is dirty, bare foot on carpet, one time bed bug issue, spent $1,200 we split the cost, a couple of  times roach issues (hard to tell if they brought). Smell is strong.  

Bottom line: I would continue to rent to Indian tenants. And be prepared for big cleaning work. I used two ozone generators to netrualize the smell.
