register business in US

If someone live in US and work for a chinese company located in china, is it possible he can hide income from china, doesn't pay yax since he doesn't have W-2?

is this chinese company supposed to register a business license in order to hire him since he live in US working on US market?

People here know business very well. Thanks for advice!
