Honda Says EVs Aren’t the Endgame—Here’s What They’re Betting On

Honda Australia has clarified that its parent company's 2050 Net Zero emissions target doesn't include a specific goal to exclusively sell electric vehicles (EVs).

As part of its recently unveiled future product strategy, the Japanese automaker's Australian division announced that updates to its best-selling CR-V midsize SUV and HR-V small SUV will result in hybrids accounting for 90 percent of its total sales by next year - up from the current 53 percent.
