I am interested in this topic partly because it is somewhat related to my work. Some of our roofing products are plastic and have a CC1 fire rating. CC1 used to be considered very good. However, recently (even before the big fires), for the first time, we had a city require a 'Class A roof assembly' test (ASTM E108). I suspect that after the recent fires, we may have more clients requiring fire ratings higher than CC1.
