If you have followed the whole Comey saga and understand a little bit politics or history, you might think differently.  The president has the authority to fire the FBI director, no matter it is Clinton (if she won) or Trump.  But firing an FBI director during an investigation led by him into the potential wrongdoing of the president is a completely different story.  If you follow the news of the White House, you would know that Trump was very agitated by Comey's public admission that FBI was looking into the possible collusion of the Trump associates with Russia and his testimony about Russia in the most recent hearing.  Remember how Trump praised Comey for his handling of Clinton emails?  Now Comey was fired on that ground in the middle of the investigation of Trump?  Doesn't it raise too many questions?
