以中國為例，中國去年對美國的貿易順差是2950億美元，對美出口總額是4380億美元，相除的比率數字大約是67%。67%除以二之後，美國對中國征收的對等關稅就是34%，加上早前加征的20%，中國被加征的關稅一共是54%。
