詞是徐誌摩翻譯一個英國女詩人的詩

羅大佑譜曲的【歌】首先出現在電影《閃亮的日子》裏，是張艾嘉/劉文正唱的。羅大佑自己唱的【歌】收在88年“情歌-閃亮的日子”裏。unplug版在95年的“自選集”裏。

曾經有四個人和這首詩有一些聯係：
　　第一位是作者——Christina Georgina Rossetti，英國詩人Dante Gabriel Rossetti的妹妹。
　　第二位是譯者——徐誌摩，他在1928年將英文原詩翻譯成中文。
　　第三位是歌者——羅大佑，他在1974年為徐誌摩的譯作譜曲，成為他創作的第一首歌曲。
　　第四位是聽者——也就是區區在下，他曾經將自己仰麵放倒在床上，說：“這首歌應該這樣聽。”
