Try a different brand of DVD+RW.It should work( though it's harder to use DVD+RW than DVD+R) if you can do DVD+R.

If your DVD writer is not multi-format support, you can not do DVD-R or DVD-RW.
RW means you can erease and write again.
R means you can only write once.
