In terms of notebook, nothing compares Apple Powerbook:
1. Powerbook G3 Pismo 2000, the best notebook ever made, with no CPU fans, super quiet, fireware/USB support, and wireless airport card; most windows notebook even didn't have a USB outlet at that time.
2. Powerbook Titannium 2001-2003, the first notebook with titanium shell and 15.2" wide screen, after that the wintel notebook makers then realized that they can make wide screen notebook.
3. Powerbook Aluminum 2003-current, ultrathin notebook with a 17" wide screen; angain Wintel notebook makers realized that they can follow Apple and copy Apple's design.
4. Macbook Pro with INTEL CPU, 2006, which marks the end of PowerPC as CPU for Mac computers. Technically you can have both OS X (graphic Unix) and and Windows XP installed. My point is when you can buy such a wonderful Mac/PC hybrid, why bother with the average PCs?
Try Apple Macbook Pro with Intel Core duo, OS X & XP
