Ideally, all software should be able to be un-installed completely. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case. Some software developers just don’t have time or fund to develop this function. Some other developers, including Symantec, aren’t willing to enable their software to be un-installed completely due to various reasons.

In order to use Norton Internet Security, you may have to re-install the operating system.
