firefox is not stable????!!!!

this thing happened with cannot click links at beginning, then I tried to restart firefox, then small firefox windows shown that "do the firebox restore to defualt settings", I cannot select default one,so I chosen to exit and closed small window (Message or pop up). The last result is I lost all my bookmarks, browser history,theme,all setting back to original (default settings). Those bookmarks are quite important for me as there are links for my assignment.
Any ideas?? Thanks
