求救 重裝 win98

求救.本人在ibm thinkpad600 上使用 win98. 最近開機後無法正常進入windows, 開啟聲音後,即顯示: the program is an illegal operation and the system will be shut down... 的警告方框, 無正常的icons顯示.
是否中了病毒? 試過把98安裝盤放入cd-rom, 也無法啟動.
如何解決?請高手賜教.....
