Is USB 2.0 slower than 1394?

Anybody who tried both can comment on this?

In theory USB 2.0 is 480M bps while 1394 is 400M bps. So on the paper, USB 2.0 is slightly faster than 1394. I'm curious which one is bit faster in real world.
