Chinese internally. you should unstall 紫光拚音輸入法 first.
Then
1. go to Control Panel, Click on "Regional and Language Options".
2. Select "Languages" tab, see if "install files for East Asian Languages" is checked. if not, check it, and you may need your XP CD at this point.
3. after that, you should click “Advanced" tab. at the top under "Language for non-Unicode programs" group, the current selection would be "English", change it to "Chinese (PRC)" by select from the pull down menu.
4. Click on "OK" button, then system would ask you to reboot and other stuff. Do whatever you want, but must reboot.
5. After reboot, reinstall紫光拚音輸入法 again.
6. come back to this "Regional and Language Options", select ”Languages" tab, click the "Details" button in "Text services and input languages". A new window pops up.
7. Click the "Add" button in "Installed services", select "Chinese(PRC)" for "Input Language", check "Keyboard layout/IME", then select
