the security of 802.11b WEP?

I was told the WEP used in 802.11b very much easy to be cracked! So better to choose products with WAP, right?

Also, I get the wireless signal from IP: 192.168.1.101,
what company is that? the name of this wireless access point is "linksys", I don't know if it's a real name.
