it played everything, includes divx, xvid, etc. if order from amazon and apply amazon credit card when you check out, you'll receive $30 credit, the price for the dvd itself is $66, after the credit it's only $36, free shipping and no tax. The bad part is that it took like a month or 2 for the delivery. Excellent product review.
