properly, you should have a new printer device with the name "acrobat PDF writer" appear in the system. There's no need to download and install the PDF writer separately. To find the new device, open any printable file (for example in MS-Word), choose from the manu FILE/Print, under the PRINTER NAME you shall see the PDF writer.
