stderr is not a tty - where ..

After ssh authetication setup, I got a error message
when using command:

ssh ls

This command can list the correst files and directories,
but shows a error message at the same time:

stderr is not a tty - where are you?

How can I solve this problem? Both the sever and client
systems are Slackware Linux.
