Try to re-seat CPU

Many years ago I had simialr issue when I took out desktop from check-in luggage after moving. There was almost nothing after I turned on the power. Very brief light came up from CD-ROM and total silence.

Later on I re-seated the CPU(took out CPU and put back in the socket) and the desktop was back to life.

My theory is that contacts of CPU became loose during airline transportation.
