I solved my GV problems by following the instruction of this linkhttps://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=78754( thanks to user11).
Follow the link for a transitioned Google Apps account user to clear CAPTCHA.
May need to clear the cookies if more than one account.
